TELANGANA



Telangana has a cultural history of about 5000 years and it was emerged as the centre of culture in Indian subcontinent during the rule of Hindu Kakatiya Dynasty and the Nizams of hyderabad. Telangana is the representative of the Deccan Plateau. Telangana state has been a meeting place for diverse languages and cultures and it is also known as "south of north and north of south". The capital of Telangana is Hyderabad and Hyderabad is called as a miniature India. Since this state is famous for diverse languages people speak telugu,Urdu, and many other languages. Telugu became the language of government and it was introduced as the medium of instruction.


ART OF TELANGANA


Telangana is a storehouse of creativity whish is prevalent in its collection of art and craft. The Golconda style is an old method of blending foreign tecniques. The Hyderbad styele emerged under the influence of nizams.Dokra is a famous craft where astisans   produce peacocks  ,elephants,             horses,tribal gods and other variety of birds and animals which are made of brass. Bidri craft issaid to ahve brought by migrants.


FESTIVALS OF TELANGANA


Telangana is expected to host some festivals as well to start with some the first one is Bathukamma is a part of dasra festivities which is unique to telangana. This festival is celebrated by all the hindu womenand the ,meaning of Bathukamma is 'Mother goddess come alive' and Bathukamm ais known as the godess of womanhod. Bonalu is another festival whereMaa kali is worshipped.this festival is considered as the thanks giving foe god for fulfulling their desires. the next is Ramzan and Moharram many hindus also actively take part in this festival.


CUISINE OF TELANGANA


The two distinct cuisines are telugu and hyderbadi, they contain millet,jowar,bajra. It has fused flavours of persian,mughlai marathwada,telugu,turkish cuisines with a fine mixture of aromatic spices and herbs. Dry cocunut, red chillies and tamarind along with spices form the main ingredient of hyderabadi cuisine . Sakinalu and gariijelu are the famous savouries.




COSTUME

Telangana is a home to some of the finest cloth making traditions of the world. Traditional women wear sari in most of the parts of the state. Langa voni, shalwar kameez and churidhar is popular among the unmarried women.some of the famous sarees made in telangana are pochampally saree, gadwal sari. male clothing includes the traditional dhoti also known as pancha and also wear sherwani. pochampally sarees has found their place in UNESCO tenative list ofworldheritage sites as part of  'iconic saree weavers of india'.

PILGRIMAGES IN TELANGANA


There are many places in Telangana and we cant specifically name one as the pilgrimage place. they are Yadadri the main diety is Lakshmi narasimha swamy and Bhadrachalam temple the main dieties are Rama and Sita then the famous Birla Mandir it was built on 280 feet high hillock called naubath pahad on a a13 acres plot in hyderabad then we also have Mecca Masjid which is on eof the oldest mosques in hyderabad and the last one is Charminar which attracts all types of people.







I here by conclude that Telangana Art,Culture,Traditions also play an important role in Indian Culture and Traditions.
