Being the capital of the country, it is inhabited by the people from every corner of India. So, it has a mixed culture. In other words, Delhi collectively represents the culture of all Indian regions. Delhi is also regarded as the hub of politics, where all the important decisions are taken and various policies are passed. The city has a vast and impressive history which has left impact on its cultural aspects.
Delhi is known for its perfect blend of modern lifestyles along with old traditional values. It means that some people still hold on to the old traditional values to some extent whereas, some people tend to show off and became slaves to modern people.
Delhi has always been a major attraction is terms of fairs and festivals observed in the city. Diwali Holi and Diwali are the main festivals celebrated in the city. Besides, Delhi is also influenced by the culture of its bordering states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Not only this, the famous monuments like the Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, etc add to the charm of the capital city.

Old Famous Jalebi Wala has been around since 1884. The founder of this shop is known to have experimented with many recipes before deciding on the final one.

Delhi’s food culture is a mixture of its past, different cultures and traditions. Also, Delhi today has come to embrace the best of the international cuisines. So there is no trouble in finding Italian, Chinese, Thai and American restaurants.
