   KERALA

                                        
               India has one of the world's oldest and richest culturals.India has its traditional values ,religion ,dance ,festivals ,music , food and cloth.This huge country along with cultural diversity possesses geographical characteristics.Climate in India is also extremely different.In this country, a person may found people of different faiths.Regligion in India is a significant part of its culture.It has 29 states, each state is unique by their tradition.In this article a brief of state Kerala is mentioned.
CULTURE:

 Kerala is a small, densely populated state in India.Its the capital of Thiruvananthapuram.It occupies a long strip of land along the southwest coast of India.Kerala is relatively poor in natural resources but rich in scenic beauty.It has a long literary and artistic tradition.Kerala is famous for its poets and musicians,its traditional dance forms, and for its architecture.Craftworks in Kerala continue the ancient arts of woodcarving and wall-painting.coconut grow in abundance coconut kernel,coconut cream and coconut milkare widely used in ditches.

TRADITIONS AND OCCUPATION:
                                                 Kerala contributes atleast 96% of India's entire yield of pepper and 91% of natural rubber which is produced by the people of Kera Kerala fondly known as God's own country.It has a wonderful tradition in the history of Malayalis with lot of ethnic values amd cultures.Apart from Hinduism,christianity and Muslims there are also Buddhism, Jainism,Sikhism and Judaism religions in a very small proportion. There are some traditional festivals like Onam and Vishu which is followed with great celebrations.the theatrical shows of Mohiniattam,Kootiyattam and Kathakali are well-famous stage events of Malayalis.It excels in agriculture like cultivation of plantation corps like tea,coffee,pepper,coconut,etc.
 
                              
kathakali is kerala's most famous dance-form.The Kathakali dancers with their magnificent head-dresses and huge billoing skirts look nice.

ARTS AND CRAFT:
                                   Kerala is also known as the Land of Ayurveda.The people of kerala are for their handicraft items especially the carvings in rosewood and sandalwood.kerala also gets a unique identity of colouring or painting the body parts with henna and related colours.kerala and keralites are known for Ayurveda and its related medicines.Their the system of naturalistic takes place completely.
                                                                       
CUISINE:
               The cuisine of kerala is linked in all its richness to the history, geography, demography and culture of the land.kerala has a multitude of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian  dishesprepared using fish,poultry and red meat.Coconuts grow in abundance in Kerala.kerala's longcoastline,numerous rivers and backwater networks and has fishing industryRice and cassava form the staple food in Kerala.kerala cuisine is richly spicy especially the hot ones-chilli,black pepper.

TOURIST PLACES:
It has Napier Museum,housed in a picturesque building, has a rich collection of bronzes and artefacts. The zoo and the aquarium near by are worth visiting.Kovalam Beach is away from Thiruvananthapuram, one of the finest place in India,with a number of beach resorts,including luxury hotels.In Thirussur, the famous pooram festival is celebratednat the Vadakkumnathan temple every year during April-May.The Periyar National Park is located 258km away from Thiruvananthapuram.it is the home of elephants,bisons,antelope,sambars,monkeys and langurs.then atlast Padmanabha Swamy Temple, the city of Thiruvananthapuram has derived its name from the temple of Aantha Padmanabha Swamy.It was built in 1733,the temple is open only for Hindus.
